You're welcome Shedder and thank YOU! After the reggae demo, someone asked about a groove Vinnie played on the Joe's Garage album...he said he's been trying to figure it out for 5 years.
After the reggae hi hat thing, Tim Landers, the bass player came over to Vinnie with a tray of glasses and ice water saying "Room Service".
There must have been about 800 of us jammed into that room. Between the playing and the jokes it was the best clinic of that conference.
the end of that is just sick!
Yeah, this stuff still holds up, even after almost 20 years, it's still amazing!
Just to put it in context, in '85 we (drummers) were dealing with the excessive use of drum machines in the studio. Many of us lost work because of this. It was kind of depressing. Hearing Vinnie, during this time... just go way beyond our imaginations, was actually therapeutic. It was like opening a window and letting a creative light in the room after dealing with the dreary prospect of a drum machine infested future.
How about Manu playing Seven Days?
Please keep this clinic posted for a bit. I will try to downloaded it this weekend. A 21 drum salute and a big thank you to Shedder, Andy, and Da Chuch!
